60-Day Satisfaction Guarantee From Order Date

Within 60 days of purchase (with a valid prescription), Huxley offers a one-time exchange, return, or refund of your order. Exclusions: Warranty does not cover loss, theft, or accidental damage. Normal wear and tear of lenses are not covered. Manufacturer defects of frames or lenses typically appear within 90 days of purchase.

SHOP GLASSES

Frames Warranty (Precription or regular) – 1 Year

  • Huxley-branded frames are replaced once within 1 year for breakage or manufacturer defect.
  • Branded frames will follow their brand guidelines

Lenses Warranty – 1 Year Covered lens defects include:

Lenses Warranty – 1 Year Covered lens defects include:

Warranty is for active prescription only, once the prescription expires, so does the lens warranty.

Safety Lenses Warranty: A one-time replacement is included with the Safety Fee for scratched or damaged safety lenses for one year from purchase. Prescription must be valid for warranty coverage.

Prescription Change Policy

  • Within 60 days of outside exam date: one time remake at no charge.
  • If an outside prescription is brought to Huxley 90 days or later after the exam date, and needs to be remade due to a prescription change, the lenses will be remade at 50% of retail cost.
  • Measuring error or Huxley issue is resolved at no charge as long as patient notifies Huxley within the 60-day window (with written manager approval)
  • 61–90 days: Customer pays 50% of the lens remake cost.
  • After 6 months: Customer pays 100% of the lens remake cost.

Manufacturer Defects

Covered for 1 year, though most defects appear within 90 days. Non-Huxley branded frames (e.g. Oakley, Ray-Ban, Maui Jim) follow the original manufacturer’s warranty.

Returns Policy

Items must be returned in the same condition as sold. Restocking Fees: Non-Rx sunglasses/OTC Readers – 20% Any damaged frames or lenses are subject to exclusion OR a 20% restocking fee. Huxley may deny returns if we suspect abuse of policy.

What Is Not Covered

  • Loss, theft, or accidental damage (e.g. dropped in a lake, chewed by a dog).
  • If the prescription is expired, warranty cannot be applied.

Exception (with manager approval):

  • Lenses may be remade at 30% off
  • Frame may be replaced at 50% of retail cost

  • We take great care during lens installation, but some older or fragile frames may break.
  • If breakage occurs: Huxley provides full lens credit
  • Customers may bring in a new frame or choose one from Huxley.
