A note to all our wonderful Huxley customers:

In response to #Covid_19 and for the health and safety of our customers and employees, we will be immediately reducing store hours to 12-7. That may change if our staff feels uncomfortable coming in to work. We are taking this very seriously, and I expect the malls will be shutting down (temporarily) sometime soon.

We also are strongly recommending #socialdistancing and would ask that anyone without a direct need for glasses (or pick ups) do not come into the stores. Many of our customers are older folks and this is the best, and easiest, way to combat spread.
Now for the good news. Our operations will continue and there will not be any major delays on glasses at this time. We are able to set up our lab remotely and ship glasses for free to anyone or drop them off if need be.
If you are one of our customers that needs glasses, we can go mobile and meet you at a destination of your choice, take measurements and ship directly within 2 weeks. Our new website should be up shortly and you will be able to see a good selection of glasses on it.

We will be supporting our customers and staff if things close down to the best of our abilities. We hope that during this trying time we can come together as a community (and nation) to use this as a reflection on our current climate. Let’s remember that it’s WE THE PEOPLE that make our country what it is. We must do what takes to get through this as quickly and safely as we can.
